In 2014 the KurzFilmVerleih is awarded the German Verleiherpreis, a distributor's prize, for its outstanding achievements in the distribution of artistically important films. Following the years 1996 and 2004 it is the third time the award goes to Hamburg and it is worth 75.000 Euro.
